14 | Meet award-winning Canadian photographer Peter McCabe

British Columbia-born, New Hampshire-raised Peter McCabe brought his newfound love of photography with him when he moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1974. Over the next decade, he photographed a large group of friends and classmates, creating a heartfelt portrait of young people as they grew through their formative years together, near a place called Coolbrooke Park. As a photojournalist, Peter’s work covering the 2006 Dawson College mass shooting incident earned First Place in the Spot News category at the News Photographers Association of Canada Pictures of the Year awards. Join us as Peter recounts some of the highlights (and a few mishaps) of his life and career as an outstanding photographer of people.
